So, who is Alison Bennett?

Alison is an Australian/English actress who has recently returned to Sydney after almost four years in Paris.
She began her career in Sydney Australia working in local theatre and television. She moved to Melbourne to follow a performing arts degree at Monash University and began writing and performing small scenes with local cabaret and burlesque troops. In her final year of studies, she was introduced to the world of physical theatre which would set her on her theatrical path. 
She moved to London where she lived for three years working as an actress, performing at the Kings Head Theatre, the White Bear Theatre and various independent film projects. She began teaching theatre classes to children and launched 'Actors Jam', a once weekly event for actors to practice their craft and receive feedback from their peers. In her constant quest to extend her skills, she participated in a workshop run by graduates from the Le Coq school in Paris and she knew immediately that she wanted dedicate herself to this training. She returned to Melbourne and continued to work before moving to Paris. She is now based in Sydney and creates actor based theatre and film with her company Hurrah Hurrah.
